  • Phishing: A phishing attack takes place when someone masquerades as someone else to trick you into sharing personal or other sensitive information with them, usually through a fake website.
  • Malware: is software installed on your machine often without your knowledge, and is designed to harm your computer or potentially steal information from your computer.
  • Spearphishing: is known as a targeted phishing attack, its motivation is to trick you into opening, clicking and email and even redirecting you to malicious sites without your knowledge. Often times the attacker leverages intel from Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts to gain personal details about you.
